Q: Is this for autism moms?
A: Yes, but it’s for all moms. Neurotypical kids, kids on the spectrum, kids with all kinds of unique personalities!
Q: Is this for any moms?
A: Yes.
Mom CAMP is for all moms- but most examples are geared for moms of kids elementary-aged and younger.
Q: How much time will this take?
A: Mom CAMP is a four week program. Your time commitment is an hour a week or less of active learning time. The rest is up to you how much effort you put into implementing the things you’ve learned!
Q: What if I get busy and don’t have time to do it all in 4 weeks?
A: No problem. Your access to the course isn’t going anywhere. You can go back and watch it all at your own pace.
Q: What if I am a behavior analyst or RBT and a mom? Is there anything in Mom CAMP for me?
A: Yes! When was the last time you sat down and worked on your own family’s plan? Do you have clear family values? Do you have clear family expectations tied to those values? The behavior tools in the M module hopefully will be old news to you, but our examples can help you freshen up how you approach behavior in your own home!
